As I am sure many of you are aware we did an update that changed the rank that you could private message, to make it so you would need to be Ordinary Seaman or above to private message someone.

We do take all feedback on board and have listened to what many have said, although in general most are happy with the change, a lot of the issue was about not being able to pm your friends.

We have made a change to the system, you still need to be Ordinary Seaman to be able to pm, but if your friend is at the previous pm rank of VIP Passenger 4 or higher, you will still be able to pm them. 

This still allows new chatters time to get used to chat without being bombarded with pm's, but also allows you to speak to your friends.  They have to have been added as a friend for this to work though, you can't just say they are a friend, the system has to know this.

We will review all these changes in a few weeks and make any additional tweaks if need be.
